Tom,So I take it that this price on the 40d is high.The exact Price without tax was 28275,the tractor was $ 17200 w/blockheater,remote valve,16la 72'fel,qa withcutting edge,joystickvalve,grille guard-$4200
the 758 hoe with sub frame &18" bucket $6200 and d7 forks $675
Early in the year I was looking at the 29d and the prices I got was $14,151 for the tractor w/block heater,and rim guard R4,a 7308 qt FEL60" $3780 and a 757c with18"bucket $6389.00 Total 24,320.This was back in March02,I check into this board just about every week and read what I think are great prices,but when I go out to the dealers around this neck of the woods they hit me with high quotes! Does this market have the room to drop three to four grand off say a 40d or even a 33d?like auto dealers/

It been said several times that dealers havas much as 20% to work with. 15 to 16% seens to be normal for a lot of deals. ....

$21,400 for the tractor and loader sounds like about what I paid 1 1/2 years ago. I paid the extra $1000 for the super steer(worth every penny). My mistake was not noticing the backhoe in your quote-DUH. Sorry for the mistake. Anyway, I love this machine and have no regrets. The only regrets that I've seen near my tractor are the 2 neighbors that bought green and orange then saw mine with the super steer. ....
